Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 945. Troop 945 has been serving the Damascus, Maryland Community with a history of excellence since 1989. The Troop meets on Monday evenings at the Wildlife Achievement Chapter of the Damascus Izaak Walton League located on Mullinix Mill Road just off Route 108 (approximately 2 miles from the center of Damascus). Meeting activities are planned by the scouts and include practicing Scouting skills, planning trips and special activities, working on merit badges and other interesting projects.
To get started, click any of the links on the menu bar to the left. The membership handbook has been revised. See the Calendar page for a listing of all the events we currently know about. Now you can plan your busy schedule. Check the Merit Badge page for details about earning these. The Activities page also lists the upcomming outings with links to details such as flyers and permission slips. Past events shows photos of some of the great stuff we've done. The resources page has important forms, paperwork and links to other scouting sites that you may find interesting.
Whenever possible, we will post "official" documents (like permission slips) in .pdf format. A free reader is available here [adobe.com].
