Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 945!


Troop 945 has been serving the Damascus, Maryland Community with a history of excellence since 1989. The Troop meets on Monday evenings at the Wildlife Achievement Chapter of the Damascus Izaak Walton League located on Mullinix Mill Road just off Route 108.
Membership is open to boys entering 6th grade, up through High School.  A Venture Crew is open to girls as well as boys beginning with High School.


Troop 945 Scouts learn essential camping, cooking and survival skills, as well as personal management, community citizenship, leadership, communication and other essential qualities that prepare them for full and successful participation in modern society, while remaining grounded in timeless values.

The site is intended for those interested or already participating members of the Troop; kids and their parents.  Commercial interests and other unwelcome incursions will likely be ignored or rebuffed.  If you feel that you fall into a grey area, please feel free to contact the webmaster.
